October 30, 2020 Kodi Swamigal Thava Bhoomi, Dhanushkodi
The divine calling
Kodi Swamigal instructed the members of the trust, to conduct a Bhoomi pooja to establish Mani Mandapam (Pillared hall) at Thava Bhoomi in Dhanushkodi. The Muhurtham (Auspicious time) he had chosen was on October 30th, 2020. India was recovering from COVID-19 Phase 1. We were sceptical of whether we would get permission to conduct the large gathering considering the uncertain times of this epidemic.
What mortals can't see or understand is what every Mahaan or Siddha Purusha sees and gives signals. Kodi Swamigal told in a cryptic manner of two important messages.
Kodi Swamigal's divine instructions for the event
The divine presence of Kodi Swamigal directs every act carried out by our trust. Kodi Swamigal gives the what, when, where, and how of every function.
No of people to attend
Take 27 people from Thabovanam to Dhanushkodi. Whoever is coming directly to Dhanushkodi is their choice. From Thabovanam temple, the starting point of the journey for Kodi Kudumbam has to be the number 27.
Obtaining permissions for the event
Kodi Swamigal instructed Mrs.Bama Balaji to obtain permission, mentioning the number of people to attend and that it was a low-key affair. He said we would get permission with restrictions.
Upon his divine instructions, we informed the people and chose 27 members who were willing to travel to Dhanushkodi without any health issues and safe enough to travel. We also wrote to the concerned departments at Rameswaram about the importance of our visit and how we as a group would be mindful of the scenarios and be cooperative.
We received relevant permissions to conduct the festival responsibly and there wasn't a glitch. Adequate support from the police and other governmental agencies ensured the function was a peaceful one.
