Every year, after the culmination of Dhanushkodi Kadal Poojai, two devotees walk to Arichal Munai at Dhanushkodi and collect sand from where the two seas confluence, as per Kodi Thatha's Instructions.
Kodi thatha instructed to give the sand as prasadham to anyone seeking him to get over a difficult situation in life or at a point of no return.

Since June 2021, as per the divine instructions from Kodi Thatha, we have been conducting Oonjal utsavam at the temple in Thabovanam, Perungudi.
5 Types of Abhishekam
(Tulsi Water, Milk, Chandanam, Vibhuti & Paneer) are offered to Kodi Thatha.
After the abhishekam, Kodi Thatha gets ready with raja alangaram, and the procession starts towards the oonjal.
Darshan Timings: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Kalasam Niruthum Vizha @ Thabovanam, Chennai - March 2020
With the blessings of Kodi Swamigal, the trust conducted a grand function on March 3 - 8, 2020, at Sri La Sri Ponmudi Kodi Swamigal Aalayam, Thabovanam, Perungudi. Pancha Maha Purusha yagam & consecration of the kalasam happened according to his instructions.
The event attracted more than a thousand devotees from all over the city who soaked in the divine grace of Kodi Swamigal. The six days of divine satsang with music and dance festivities reverberated in and around the Thabovanam temple.
