Together, we serve the people during adversity
In times of great adversity, the true spirit of humanity shines brightest. The COVID-19
pandemic brought the world to a standstill and sparked a global movement of compassion and
resilience. One such remarkable story unfolded in the sacred towns of Rameswaram and
Dhanushkodi, where our trust took on the monumental task of ensuring that no one went hungry
during the darkest days of the pandemic.
Together, We Can Feed Many
Though necessary to curb the virus's spread, the lockdown left thousands stranded without access to necessities. The situation was particularly dire in Rameswaram and remote areas like Dhanushkodi.
Many people, including daily wage labourers, fishermen, and pilgrims, lacked food and support. In this moment of need, our trust stepped forward, determined to make a difference.
Our mission was clear,
To provide meals to the most vulnerable, following the strict government protocols to protect public health. Organising such a large-scale operation in these challenging conditions required not just resources but a deep commitment to the welfare of our fellow human beings.
Big-hearted and Kind souls like Shri.Muralidharan and Shri. Iyappan joined in this noble cause by giving their hall premises for preparing food at this large scale.
The success of our efforts was made possible by the unwavering support of government officials, who played a crucial role in facilitating our work on the ground.

The police personnel, Coast Guard staff, and other frontline workers demonstrated extraordinary dedication, working tirelessly alongside our volunteers to ensure that meals were distributed safely and efficiently. Their presence ensured that government protocols were strictly followed and provided a sense of security and order during these uncertain times.
Our team prepared and distributed meals daily, ensuring the food reached every hungry soul. As the news spread, demands increased to support the remote areas of Dhanushkodi. The sight of police officers and Coast Guard personnel delivering meals to those in need at Dhanushkodi, often under challenging conditions, was a powerful reminder of the collective strength of our community.
Families that had lost their source of income, elderly individuals who were isolated and alone, and stranded pilgrims all received food and the comfort of knowing that they were not forgotten.

Underneath all these efforts are the divine blessings of Kodi Swamigal, who had sown the seeds of Annadhanam in the minds of every volunteer. Leading from the front, Mrs.Bama Balaji, the trust's managing trustee, ensured that we delivered what was needed at that hour without any compromise.

We feel a deep gratitude as we reflect on our work in Rameswaram and Dhanushkodi. The pandemic tested our resolve, but it also revealed the best of what we can achieve when we come together for a common cause. Our trust remains committed to serving our community in the days to go with the guidance of our guru Kodi Swamigal – The Eternal Mahaan
