For 18 years, since 2000, Mrs Kalyani Ammal, Sridhar & Ramesh have organised the annual Kadal Poojai event based on the instructions given by Sinjiwadi Swamigal. In 2019, two days before the event, they approached Mrs Bama Balaji, Managing Trustee of Puravipalayam Sri La Sri Ponmudi Kodi Swamigal Charitable Trust. They requested to take over this yearly event to organise and conduct it more efficiently. With all humility, The trust accepted the responsibility of running this event from 2019 at the Thava Bhoomi, Dhanushkodi.

The trust has put its best effort into making the event memorable for every devotee who steps into the sphere of divine grace of Kodi Swamigal at Dhanushkodi.
