Kodi Swamigal's divine instructions for this year Kadal Poojai
Every act carried out by our trust is directed by the divine presence of Kodi Swamigal. The What, When, Where and How of every function is given by Kodi Swamigal himself. Every year Kadal Poojai's key components are said well in advance and we strive to implement them.
Gathering of devotees from Chennai
In celebration of the 21st year of Kadal Poojai, the Trust arranged a special bus from Chennai for devotees wishing to visit Dhanushkodi and attend the sacred ceremony. Fifty-one devotees, from all walks of life, boarded the bus and made the journey to the holy site. This pilgrimage was organized in response to divine guidance from Kodi Swamigal, as many devotees around Thabovanam were eager to see his sacred meditation ground, Thava Bhoomi. The journey brought the faithful closer to Kodi Swamigal's spiritual legacy and strengthened their connection to his blessings.
Mulaipaari for Kadal Poojai
For the 21st-year Kadal Poojai, Kodi Swamigal guided us to offer 11 Mulaipaaris (sprouted pots) as a sacred tribute. These 11 Mulaipaaris were carried in a ceremonial procession, padayal, and finally offered to the sea. This heartfelt offering connected devotees to the divine, honouring Kodi Swamigal’s wishes and the powerful spirit of the ocean.
Sand from Arichal Munai
Every year, after the culmination of Dhanushkodi Kadal Poojai, two members from the trust walk to Arichal Munai at Dhanushkodi and collect sand from where the two seas confluence, as per Kodi Thatha's Instructions. This sand is brought to Thabovanam temple in Chennai. This is given as prasadham for those who seek deseprate help or divine intervention in their life.
