Kodi Swamigal's divine instructions for this year Guru poojai
Every act carried out by our trust is directed by the divine presence of Kodi Swamigal. The What, When, Where and How of every function is given by Kodi Swamigal himself. Every year Guru Poojai's key components are said well in advance and we strive to implement them.
Mulaipaari Procession
For the second year in succession, 151 Mulaipaaris were the count, The procession from Palavakkam Beach covered a distance of 6 km before reaching the temple venue at Perungudi. 5 Mulaipaaris and the Chief deity of the procession - Kodi Swamigal Mulaipaari was instructed to be offered to the sea on the upcoming full moon day after the guru pooja.
Colour-coded dress
For the 29th year of Guru Poojai, The colour theme was - Ocean Blue for the second continuous year. The core team of 18 members were instructed to wear the ocean blue colour. The Men and Women matched the colour. The reason for Kodi Swamigal choosing a single colour for the members is to bring unison in the thinking process to ensure we move as a collective unit.
