Every act carried out by our trust is directed by the divine presence of Kodi Swamigal. The What, When, Where and How of every function is given by Kodi Swamigal himself. Every year Guru Poojai's key components are said well in advance and we strive to implement them.
Annaprasadham
Annaprasadham is an integral part of every Kodi Swamigal function. For this year, Kodi Swamigal instructed our trust to offer Vegetable Biryani as Maha annaprasadham across all centres. Dhanushkodi, Chennai, Thiruvannamalai, Puravipalayam & Pondicherry served Briyani as part of Guru Poojai celebrations.
Mulaipaari Procession
Mulaipaari is always an important offering in every gurupoojai. This year, Kodi Swamigal instructed us to put mulaipaari in 3 locations. At Chennai 71 mulaipaaris for the procession to begin from a nearby Church, 5 were exclusively kept inside the sanctum of Thabovanam. Kodi Swamigal instructed us not to remove them until he told them to. 5 at the Kodi Goshala and one at his Thava Bhoomi in Dhanushkodi. Except in Chennai, in the rest of the places, the volunteers had no experience, relied only on divine intervention, and listened to the instructions. The Mulaipaaris came out grandly and all was offered to the sea according to Kodi Swamigal's instructions at the right time mentioned by him.

The festivities officially began on the evening of October 9th, 2024 as tradition dictated. The Gho Pooja, a sacred cow worship ceremony, opened the rituals, followed by a powerful Yagna and the deeply symbolic Thambapathi Pooja. Each ceremony was a tribute to the ancient traditions Kodi Swamigal had embraced, infusing the entire atmosphere with spiritual significance.
